This is much more complex to do than it should be, so please bear with it..
Also, be prepared to log back in to the portal the site is renowned to kicking you out.
1. Choose New Project
On the next screen you are prompted for Name.. this is a little vague and is in fact the Project Name!
Each Project is grouped under a Company, generally the title is a short description, handy if you include a date for future reference.
Generally you will be selecting Consolidation Analysis (CA), unless you wish to monitor Desktops for maybe a VDI, Workspaces analysis.
Multiple Projects can be assigned to a single Company, this is necessary is you are conducting Server AND a Desktop analysis at the same time.
2. New Company
This is a much more traditional Company Details page.
The only details which need to be completed are the Company Name & the Country
3. Setting up the Admin rights
Select My Projects, place a tick next to the required project.
Click Access & Permissions
Then click on Grant Access
Before you go any further, click on the Company drop down and choose “Your-Parent-Company”
This will then offer a new list of Available users.
Select “All Comapny Users” (assuming that this has been creaded), move this to the right.
Ensure that the Role is: Administrator
Once this is compete, you need to return to the ‘Portal’ – remember the hidden menu bar top right!
This will return you to the regular Dashboard view.
4. Select the Company from the drop down menu
If you are just starting the analysis process, this page will contain no data.
Under the Project heading, you will see any Projects that have been assigned to this customer.
